I have 2 handles that have gone to sheeet. One locks up and the other doesn't hold the head up. Should I replace both pinch brake and the activator in both? Thanks. Great Video.

My break is working fine, but I'm experiencing a friction problem with the hinged plate that attaches to the box. Sometimes it sticks and doesn't move at all. If I remove the rod and grease it well that's solve my problem?

Everything Northstar does it awesome I had my Northstar tools for 17 years and finally the plate on the handle have just broken I cant say the same for level5
What can be done to eliminate the edges that form when using the spotters? I have the 2 inch and 3 inch and have adjusted the blades in and out with little to no improvement.

I have a TG600 that I haven't used in a while. I tried using it today but it's barely spraying any texture. I cleaned it multiple times trying to figure out what's going on. Any suggestions for me to check out?
I’m 2 yrs late but their is a little brass tube that holds the black rubber pipe that goes into the mud ..... that little brass piece has like 4 or 5 holes on the tip of it . Those have to be clean and unclogged . 2.) make sure your texture is thinned out good you want it pretty watery to where when you pour it it flows a little more watery than pancake mix .... unless it’s knockdown then you want it just a little thicker . 3.) when you put the tip on the tighter you tighten it the bigger the pattern gets . If you put it on and have only tightened the tip like 2.5 turns hardly anything will come out . Somewhere within them 3 options you will have it shooting amazing and never bust out the hopper or compressor again

For the price theyre great...def good way to get into them but i wouldnt show up to a job with them if theres guys there with more expensive kits. Ive used tapetech and the quality is def better but the basic design is almost identical just cheaper
I bought a set of Columbia tools. pump(free box filler), 2 boxes (10 & 12) plus handle for $1200. The tape tech set was $1600. Tape tech even wants to charge you for the box filler. Columbia is just as good and less expensive mb

andy moser I’ve owned Ames forever and decided to purchase the less expensive brand platinum they work great as good as tape tech or Columbia which I also own i recently purchased the tape tech 15” box it’s a beast I should of spent the money on the newer wiping blades. I just ordered the Columbia 18” blade and handle am anxious to see how effective they are according to CS drywall on utube they love them less stress on wrists etc. you will be fine with platinum
@@stevenpiehl6199 I've found them really good too. I have a 8'' and 12'' Platinum box. I was a little hesitant due to the cheaper price of other well known brands, but very pleased overall with them and not a lot different.
